Verification Data
Identity verification on NeighborCircle is entirely optional. If you choose to verify, your documents (ID, license, insurance) are processed through Stripe Identity, a third-party service. By opting in, you agree to Stripe's privacy practices in addition to ours. Verification data:
- Is processed by Stripe Identity — not reviewed or stored by NeighborCircle directly
- Is NOT guaranteed to be accurate by NeighborCircle
- Is used solely to display an informational verified status on your profile
- Does not constitute an endorsement, background check, or safety guarantee

- Limited profile info with other users

Camera Access
NeighborCircle may request access to your device camera for the following purposes:
- Uploading a profile photo
- Scanning identity documents during optional verification (processed by Stripe Identity)
Camera access is only used when you actively initiate these actions. We do not access your camera in the background. Photos or images captured for verification are processed by Stripe Identity and are not stored by NeighborCircle directly.
Location Data
Your address is used to enable local community features and restrict proximity-based services.

We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any updates.
