Verification Disclaimer

NeighborCircle may offer optional identity verification tools (such as Stripe Identity) to help members build trust. Verification is entirely voluntary. NeighborCircle does NOT require verification to use the platform, does NOT enforce it for any user, and does NOT guarantee the accuracy of any verification. A verified badge does not constitute an endorsement, background check, or safety guarantee by NeighborCircle.

Risk Acknowledgment

NeighborCircle does not guarantee services. All interactions are at your own risk. NeighborCircle is not responsible for any outcomes resulting from services arranged through the platform.

Disputes Between Members
All disputes, disagreements, or complaints arising from service arrangements are solely between the members involved. NeighborCircle is not a party to any service agreement between members and has no obligation to intervene, mediate, or resolve disputes. Members are encouraged to resolve issues directly and respectfully.

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, members may contact support@neighborcircle.app and NeighborCircle may, at its sole discretion, assist in facilitating communication — but is not obligated to do so and assumes no liability for dispute outcomes.

Community Guidelines
NeighborCircle is built for trusted, local community support. All members are expected to uphold the following standards.
Expected Behavior
Prohibited Behavior

NeighborCircle has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior on the platform.

Community Governance & Moderation
Reporting Objectionable Content
Members may report objectionable content or abusive users through the in-app "Report to Admin" feature, available on chat messages and user profiles. Reports are sent to the community administrator for review and action. Administrators may escalate serious incidents to NeighborCircle.
Blocking Users
Members may block other users directly within the app. Blocking immediately prevents the blocked user from accepting your service requests or sending you direct messages — no administrator action is required for the block to take effect.
Enforcement

Violations of these community guidelines may result in suspension or permanent removal from NeighborCircle at our sole discretion. NeighborCircle reviews escalated reports as promptly as reasonably possible but does not commit to any specific response timeframe.

For serious or life-threatening situations, do not wait for platform action. Contact your local police or emergency services (911) immediately. NeighborCircle is not a substitute for law enforcement or emergency services.
