1. Independent Contractor Status

NeighborCircle does not supervise, direct, or control the manner or means by which you provide services.

8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NeighborCircle and its officers, directors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your services, conduct, negligence, violation of law, or breach of this Agreement.
9. No Guarantee of Requests
NeighborCircle does not guarantee minimum earnings, service requests, user demand, or payment collection. All arrangements are between users.

NeighborCircle may offer optional identity verification tools (such as Stripe Identity) to help build trust within the community. Verification is entirely voluntary. NeighborCircle does NOT require verification to use the platform, does NOT enforce or mandate it for any provider, and does NOT guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any verification result.

Verification status is informational only and does not constitute a background check, certification, or safety guarantee. All users must independently assess trust and exercise caution when engaging with others on the platform.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
